Dosing Re-Borne. Re-Borne is currently sold on a pilot basis solely to the equine industry, primarily to trainers and owners of performance horses (e.g., racing thoroughbreds, show horses, cutting horses, hunter/jumpers). It is sold and shipped frozen in 220ml and 450ml bottles, for thawing, refrigeration and use by the customer. Customers are beginning to use Re-Borne in a variety of settings, including:
- For foals, from day 1 through 14 of the foal’s life: Foals are dosed from birth with 5ml of Re-Borne, to bolster the foal’s immune system and forestall digestive upset.
- Two weeks prior to weaning through one week after weaning: Dosing from 5ml to 10ml for 21 days to ease the transitional stress from nursing to the feedbox, as well as to reinforce immune system function.
- One to two weeks prior to shipping: Dosing 10ml to 20ml per day for 21 days to ease the stress of shipping and to bolster the immune system when horses come into contact with a number of different horses at shows or racetracks.
- Before and during horse shows and racetrack meets: Dosing 10ml to 20ml per day for 21 days to enhance coat and hair, bolster immune strength, boost appetite and forestall digestive upset during show and racing stress.
- During periods of digestive upset or skin irritation: Dosing at 20ml to 30ml per day for 14 – 21 days during periods of digestive upset or skin irritation, tapering down to 10ml to 20ml per day for an additional 14 days to maintain digestive and skin/coat health.
- For cases of immune suppression: For horses that are in training but down in weight with poor coats and poor appetites, dosing at 20ml for 14 days, tapering down to 10ml thereafter. Early usage shows that these horses will regain appetite in three days. By day seven, the hair coat slicks over and shines, and by day 14 they begin to add weight. It is important to continue dosing through the third and fourth weeks.
